The Southwyck Farm Story
In 1986, Diana Carl, and her late husband, Captain Bob, designed and built a lovely country home with a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Lawsonville, North Carolina, near Hanging Rock State Park. They named it Southwyck Farm, after Southwick H. Carl born May 3, 1826 in England. Ten years later, Diana opened her beautiful home to the public as Southwyck Farm Bed & Breakfast.
Diana, and husband, Paul, enjoy hosting guests and introducing them to all the local region has to offer. An avid world traveler, Diana has generously appointed Southwyck Farm with art and decor from far and wide.
Paul loves to be on the tractor mowing the fields or at the barn fixing something. He will gladly assist in helping you find interesting things to see in the area. Ask him about fishing at the pond or trout fishing down the way in Francisco.
